Terms and Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Dedicated Tunes website and your order for a custom song. By placing an order you agree to them. Please read them before you pay — particularly section 6, which explains when you can get your money back, and section 7, which explains what you may do with your song.
1. Who we are
Dedicated Tunes is a service that writes and produces custom songs to order. We operate this website and fulfil every order placed through it.
The quickest way to reach a person is email: hello@dedicatedtunes.com. We answer everything that arrives there and will get back to you shortly, and it is the right address for questions about an order, a refund, or these terms.
2. Your order
You place an order by answering the questions in our quiz and completing payment. The quiz answers are the brief: the recipient, the occasion, the story you want told, and your choices of genre, voice, mood and language. We use them, and only them, to write your song.
Your order becomes binding when your payment is confirmed. At that moment we begin work immediately — writing your lyrics and producing the recording — which matters for your right to cancel. See section 6.
You do not need an account. Your order lives at a private link we email to you, and that link is how you reach it again.
3. Pricing and payment
A custom song costs $39 USD. You can add any of the following at checkout:
- Keepsake Package — $14.99. A frameable lyric sheet with a QR code (PDF), your own cover photo on your song page, and a bonus version of your song in a different style.
All prices are in US dollars and include any taxes we are required to charge. The total you see at checkout is the total you pay; there are no later charges and nothing recurring.
Payment is taken in full before we start work, and is processed by Stripe on their own secure pages. We never see or store your card details.
4. Delivery
We deliver your song within 24 hours of your order, and usually much sooner. If you buy Rush Delivery, we deliver immediately.
Delivery means two things: an email telling you the song is ready, and a private page where you can play it, download the MP3 and share it. That page is unlisted — only someone with the link can open it, and search engines are told not to index it. Anyone you send the link to will be able to open it, so share it as carefully as you would like the song kept.
If we miss the delivery time you paid for, write to us and we will refund the difference — or the whole order if it is badly late. Delays caused by something outside our control are the exception, but we will always tell you what has happened rather than let you wait.
5. Revisions
Revisions are unlimited and free within 7 days of delivery. Tell us what you would like changed and we will make another version — as many times as it takes to get it right. There is no cap and no charge. The clock starts when your song reaches you, not when you order, so a slow delivery never costs you any of that time.
After 7 days the revision form closes. Your song, your song page and everything already sent to you stay yours. If something is still wrong after that, write to us and we will see what we can do — the window is where the promise ends, not where we stop caring.
A revision re-creates the song from scratch rather than editing the track you already have. The new version follows your notes, but it will not be the same recording with one detail altered — the melody, the arrangement and the vocal will all differ. We keep the earlier version, so if you prefer it you can go back to it.
6. Refunds and cancellation
All sales are final and no refund will be issued.
Every song is made to order from your own answers, so work begins as soon as you pay and there is nothing to return. If something about your song is not right, tell us and we will keep working on it — you get as many revisions as it takes, at no extra cost.
Our 30-day guarantee. That promise of unlimited re-dos is the guarantee. For 30 days from delivery, ask for a change and we will make it — as many times as it takes to get your song right. If we fail to provide those re-dos within that time, you can have your money back in full.
The guarantee is about the work, not about changing your mind: so long as we keep making the changes you ask for, no refund is due, however many re-dos that turns out to be.
Your statutory right to cancel. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase without giving a reason. That right does not apply to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised, and it does not apply to digital content once we have begun supplying it with your express consent. A custom song is both. By placing your order you ask us to begin work immediately and you accept that, once we have, the 14-day right no longer applies.
This does not affect your rights if what we deliver is faulty, not as described, or never arrives. Those rights cannot be signed away, and nothing above is intended to limit them.
7. Rights in your song
The song is yours. When your payment clears we assign you full ownership of the finished recording and its lyrics, and you may use them however you like — play them, share them, post them, perform them, or keep them entirely private.
Two honest limits. First, because the music is produced with AI, the recording may not attract copyright protection in some countries in the way a wholly human-made recording would; we cannot promise you a right that the law in your country does not grant. Second, we cannot promise your song is unique — AI systems can produce similar results from similar briefs, and we do not check every song against every other song in the world.
We keep a copy so we can re-send it if you lose the link, and so we can make revisions. We will never sell your song, licence it to anyone else, or use it to advertise this service without asking you first.
8. The details you give us
You are responsible for what you tell us. By submitting a brief you confirm that the details are yours to share, that you are not knowingly sending us anything untrue about someone, and that you have whatever permission you need from the person the song is about.
You give us permission to use those details to write and produce your song, which includes sending them to the AI services described in section 9. What we do with your information after that — how long we keep it and who else sees it — is covered in our Privacy Policy.
Please do not send us anything you would not want processed by a third-party service: payment details, passwords, health information or anyone’s identification numbers. We do not need them and we do not want them.
9. How your song is made
Your song is produced using artificial intelligence. Your brief is turned into lyrics by an AI language model, and those lyrics are then performed and recorded by an AI music generation service. The result is shaped entirely by what you tell us, but no human sings on your track.
We think that is worth saying plainly rather than in the small print. It is what makes the price and the turnaround possible. It also means the result carries the ordinary limits of the technology: a name may occasionally be sung oddly, and a phrase may land differently than you imagined. That is what revisions are for, and why they are unlimited for the 7 days after your song arrives.
10. Acceptable use
We will not write a song that:
- harasses, threatens, demeans or defames anyone;
- attacks a person or group over race, religion, sex, sexuality, disability, nationality or any similar characteristic;
- sexualises a child, in any way, at all;
- infringes someone else’s copyright, trade mark or other rights, including requests to copy an existing artist’s recording;
- is intended to deceive someone about who it is from or what it is; or
- is otherwise unlawful.
If a brief falls into any of these, we will decline it and refund you in full. If we only notice after delivery, we may remove the song page without notice.
11. Our responsibility to you
We will provide this service with reasonable care and skill. If we fail to, we will fix it or refund you.
What we cannot accept is responsibility for things we could not reasonably have foreseen, or for losses beyond the order itself — for example a missed occasion, travel booked around a delivery, or disappointment on someone else’s part. Except where the law says otherwise, our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights stand whatever this section says.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it, so a later change never alters an order already made. The date at the top of this page tells you when it was last revised.
13. Disputes
If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, and you may bring a claim in the courts there. Nothing in these terms takes that away.
If something goes wrong, please write to us first. Almost everything is quicker to fix by email than by anything more formal, and we would far rather sort it out directly than have you go elsewhere to be heard.
